He also predicted the dominant countries to the north and East of Israel being Russia, Iran and Turkey having its hand
in a attempt to oust the Jews out of the Middle East. Interestingly enough, Syria and Iraq, both well known to Ezekiel, is
not mentioned in the prophecy.
Then there are the prophecies of Isaiah stating that the Gaza strip and Syria will be transformed to a wasteland before
the day of the Lord. There are so many more prophecies indicating we are living in an extremely interesting time of
human history. Our “signs of the times” articles, examines these prophecies a bit further.
Yes, the day will come, when the Messiah will return and bring forth an end to carnage. For this to happen, there must
first be carnage. The world will continue, the sun will rise and will set, until a time of consummation, a time where all
prophecies are fulfilled and all the book of Revelation with all its mysteries and seals are revealed.
Either way, the world, is still without ending!
Thoughts for the week
It is quite tiresome hearing doomsday heretics predicting the end of the world. Our newest addition,
Preacher Camping, has a series of calculations aimed at predicting the end of the world. Non-believers,
not only scoff at his findings but believers in Christ who believe we are living in the last days, are added
to the pile of heretics, leaving no ears open to coming events.
The reality is that the earth is without ending. Yes, like many others, we believe we are living in
the time we refer to as the end times or last days. This is not referring to the end of the world, but rather to
the days that lead to the end of human rule. The day that Christ steps on to the podium to take His rightful
place. Does that mean we can predict the day or hour of this event? Absolutely not. This in itself is
confirmed by Jesus when he said that no-one knows the day or the hour of His return. No-one in the
Greek, means absolutely “no-one”! But the scriptures also assures us, that as believers, we are children of
light, and that day will not overtake us as a thief in the night. What makes us excited, are the many prophetic events that
leads to the appearing of Christ. Camping, missed a third of the Bible, in predicting the end of the world. Way to go
preacher! There are so many prophecies that are showing signs of being fulfilled in our generation, that even an atheist,
who had half a brain, would find it fairly perplexing. Many people don’t even realize that the return of the Jews to there
homeland in 1948, started a revolution in prophetic circles. The prophet Ezekiel predicted, that after many years, (in fact,
he even used the statement “the latter years”, a period used by the Prophets to show the dawning of a new era), the Jews
will return to its homeland.
